Muenster Milestone Chicken Food Now Available at D&L

Now Available: Muenster Milestone Chicken Food

Milestone Chicken Food provides your flock with a nutritionally complete blend of locally sourced ingredients. With this top of the line chicken food, Muenster is making sure that whichever comes first, chicken or egg, both receive a nutrient-filled local product that puts their health at the top of the pecking order.

What’s in it?

Milestone Chicken Food starts with unique proteins. When forging, chickens instinctively know to go after bugs and worms to supply their protein requirements. Muenster starts this highly digestible feed by adding cricket meal and fish meal to help them stay strong and productive. It’s the number one ingredient by design.

Next, they add a delicious mix of black oil sunflower seed, alfalfa, and organic peas. The bio-available nutrients help closely resemble what your flock would find in a high-quality pasture. They finish it off with minerals designed for healthy growth and essential oils to support a strong immune system.

Of course, what’s not in it is almost as important as what is. Muenster believe’s you need the best chicken feed for the best birds. That’s why they make theirs corn free, soy free, and with only non-GMO grains.

It’s also higher in calcium, supporting strong, healthy eggshells. Together, this marriage of ingredients makes Milestone Chicken Food suitable as a complete and balanced diet or supplement to a traditional diet.

D&L is excited to be offering Muenster’s new, one-of-a-kind chicken feed.  Plus, we’re excited to offer a frequent buyer program on it – buy 12 bags, get the 13th FREE!   Stop by your local D&L in Aubrey, Celina, McKinney, Gainesville or Sanger to learn more (map our locations).

We know your chickens’ nutrition is important to you.  Not only for their health, but also the eggs they’ll produce for you.  We offer a wide variety of feed options to meet your and your flock’s needs.  We carry products from the following brands:

Purina Premium Poultry Feeds

  • stng50Start & Grow: Optimum nutrition for raising laying chicks from hatch to laying age (18-20 weeks). • Layena-Pellets-Oyster-Strong-Bag-JPGLayena: Optimum nutrition for healthy birds and nutritious eggs. A 16%-protein, high-calcium ration formulated with prebiotics, probiotics and yeast for top-producing laying hens once they reach 18 weeks of age. Now with NEW Oyster Strong System™ for strong shells. Oyster shell provides another source of calcium when the hens need it most. Oyster shell is a larger particle size than limestone. This means that oyster shell will stay in the digestive tract longer and will provide a source of calcium for egg shell production over a longer period of time than smaller particle sources of calcium. This is especially important at night when egg shell formation is rapidly occurring and dietary sources of calcium are limited because the bird is not eating.  Available in pellets and crumbles.  more details

A 16%-protein high-calcium ration fortified with Omega-3 rich flaxseed oil formulated for top-producing laying hens once they reach 18 weeks of age. Vegetarian formula without added antibiotics or hormones, enhanced vitamin E for healthy birds & wholesome eggs, complete feed – no oyster shell or grit required, 300% more Omega-3 per egg*
