Fall Feeding
Applying a good application of fertilizer in the fall will help give your lawns the nutrients it needs to get through the winter.
This fall application will help increase the density of your lawn. In addition, it helps your lawn resist winter weeds and improves recovery in the spring.
Depending on your soil type we have 2 go-to traditional, slow-release fertilizers we recommend. The slow release coating on these allows the nutrients to release slowly, over time to prevent burning and longer lasting results.
- 21-7-14 slow release is recommended for sandy soils. The application rate is 10 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft.
- 16-20-00 slow release is recommended for clay soils. The application rate is 10 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft.
