Spring Weed Control
The weeds you’re (maybe) seeing now are cool season weeds that could have been prevented by your fall (September) application of pre-emergent. It’s best to get those under control as quickly as possible to give your yard the best chance at a great summer. The best way to keep a weed free lawn is by having healthy soil for grass to thrive. Spring weed control can be tricky, though, as many commercial weed control products need temperatures of 70+ to work.
Ferti-Lome’s Weed Free Zone is an exception. It controls over 80 of the toughest broad-leaf weeds and can work in temperatures as low as 45 degrees. Weed Free Zone is safe to use on Bermuda, St. Augustine, Ryegrass and Fescue.
